1982 Yamaha RD250LC in Red/White – in immaculate condition. Rare chance to acquire a fabulous example of the iconic Yamaha RD250LC. At Mounts we’re no stranger to the LC. In the 1980’s we sponsored local racing hero Alan Hockin to the Daily Express Clubman Championship riding 250 and 350 LC’s – a road-legal, race-ready production machine. This example has been imported from Germany but is properly UK-registered and ready to ride – clocks are in km. With a parallel twin liquid-cooled 250cc engine producing 35hp the life span of the RD250LC was a short one in the UK – it was just too potent. This example is in exceptional condition. Minor blemish to paintwork lower front offside of fuel tank – please see photos. Shod with Metzeler Perfect ME77 classic boots front and rear 3.25-18 front, 4.00-18 rear. You’d struggle to find a better one than this!
